Originally recorded at Huff Recording Studio in Laurel, Mississippi, the album was remastered in 2024 by David Huff at Huff Recording Studio in Defiance, Missouri. 

The album features David Huff on guitars, Fender Rhodes piano, and lead vocals; Clayborn Huff on bass and tambourine; Rayborn Huff on piano, organ, ARP Ensemble, ARP Quadra, Poly Korg, Moog, and chimes; and Keith Thibodeaux on drums. Additional musicians include steel guitar, flute, percussion, hand clapping, and background vocals.

Heaven or Hell reflects the musical and ministry identity of David & the Giants—a band whose songs combine personal experiences with Christian themes and a positive message of faith and hope.
