Song of Songs is a heartfelt Christian album from David and the Giants, combining the band's distinctive rock sound with songs centered on faith, salvation, perseverance, spiritual transformation, prayer, and the hope of Heaven.
Remastered in 2024 by David Huff at Huff Recording Studio in Defiance, Missouri, the album was originally recorded at several Southern recording facilities, including NARC/Malaco in Jackson, Mississippi, Muscle Shoals Sound, The Sound of Birmingham, and Huff Recording Studio in Laurel, Mississippi.
Song of Songs features Owen Hale on drums, Clayborn Huff on bass, Gerald Hagen on piano, Moog and Fender Rhodes, Rayborn Huff on piano, ARP, String Ensemble and Moog, and David Huff on guitars, piano and lead vocals. The album also features the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section and Jackson Strings on “Save Me,” along with additional background vocalists.
Song of Songs brings together music about finding faith, holding on through difficult times, praying for those we love, experiencing spiritual renewal, and looking toward Heaven.
